# ObsBias in IODA files

In the past having this field in the input lead to problems in assimilation. Is this issue resolved and static biases can be entered as ObsBias for EnVar and ETKFs?

I believe that obs bias information should not be entered into the ioda file, rather there is a new (netcdf) file for configuring the obs bias correction feature.
