# SOCA-Tutorial; problem with TOPO\_CONFIG

Hi there.
I have a recent build of the jedi-bundle, and am now trying to run a couple of examples contained in the soca-tutorial that I cloned from:

While following the instructions for both “soca\_hofx3d.x” and “soca\_error\_covariance\_toolbox.x”, I keep getting the error:
FATAL: Unable to find variable TOPO\_CONFIG in any input files.
What is this variable and where should it exist to solve this issue?
I tried adding it to my yaml files with no success…
Any hints are appreciated!

I gave up using this tutorial… going to the one in the SOCA bundle
