# What will be hardware/software requirements to complete practicals?

For the JEDI Academies, we provide each participant with the use of a compute instance on the Amazon cloud (AWS). So Academy students need not worry about system requirements. Currently we use cloud instances with 8 compute cores and 30 GiB memory.
