Supply a horizontal correlation .nc file to BUMP?

Hi,

I’m trying to figure out how to configure my yaml files (for the Dirac unit test case, using dirac_cov_nicas.yaml and parameters_bump_cor_nicas.yaml) so that instead of setting a constant value for the horizontal correlation length, I can input a netCDF file?

I’ve tried to follow guidance from the SABER tutorials, but no success yet.

Hi @asafaie,

I think BUMP can read the lengths from file.

This might not be the same application, but in this example, “rh” and “rv” parameters are read from files.

Thank you so much for your response, and apologies for my late reply.
I’m trying to adapt your steps in this yaml file for my application,
but a quick question: what are the contents of the ocn.cor_rh… and _rv netCDF files?
Also, file, and in that case, what files are required to be within the data_output/bump… files under the calibration io block?
